Welcome to the September edition of InsideEdge… and Spring!
Just as Spring is the time for new beginnings, I will continue to introduce you to the new areas of our business in light of the most recent organisational restructure completed in July. A quick reminder around WHY we did this, these changes have been made with a deliberate focus on you, our clients, and our service to you, along with a focus on our People with the creation of additional career progression opportunities. Last month you met the four members of our Executive Team, this month I would like to introduce you to our new General Manager of our Academic brand, Business Travel by STA: Kylie Duncan.
Kylie comes to us with over 20 years’ experience within Sales and Marketing across a range of hospitality groups. Kylie looks forward to meeting our academic customers in the near future.
Onto something that is not new anymore… NDC. We have been providing updates on how to best prepare for this industry change throughout 2019. Our commitment to you is simple, help you do your business better… but we can’t do this without your feedback. I would like to thank all of you who participated in our client survey. We received great insights which will help us tailor our service offering to suit your needs. A key takeout from the survey was ‘Managing Risk’ with 97% of our clients rating the TravelEdge Alerts valuable and timely. If you have not signed up for our Travel Alerts you can do so here.
