Message from Kim | February Edition

Valentine’s Day goes hand in hand with roses and chocolates… however it is also a reminder to look at the way we treat ourselves and each other.

One of the TravelEdge Values is to ‘look after each other’, we lift each other up, celebrate our successes and keep a positive mindset. We look out for each other and demonstrate resilience especially when things get tough. Our Values are more than just images on a wall, we use these as part of our recruitment strategy, we talk about them throughout our business at every opportunity and have aligned one of our recognition programs to them.

Talking about looking after ourselves, I recently did just that! I spent a week in Bangkok, staying at the Mandarin Oriental. This stunning property located on the Chao Phraya River has recently been transformed with its largest renovation in their 143-year history. I spent the week making the most of the exclusive amenities, including rounds of tennis, spa treatments, gym workouts and breakfast on the river every day.
