The 14th of July is well known across the world for Bastille day celebrations but closer to home, it’s the day we celebrate TravelEdge’s creation!
This year, albeit not the spectacular event we’d originally planned, we took the time to get together, share and to reflect on the first 20 years of our business. I am so proud of the company we’ve created together and it was truly wonderful to see many of the TravelEdge team “in real life” as we came together for the first time since March. All with appropriate physical distancing measures of course…
After a period of reflection, I am pleased to say that we are now well and truly looking to the future, learning from this new landscape we find ourselves in and evolving. Ever mindful of our mission to enable companies to do business better, we’ve been working on a COVID Supplier Dashboard, designed to outline the safety measures our suppliers have put in place to protect travellers when travel resumes. Given this type of data is being distributed in a very sporadic manner and is constantly evolving, we wanted to find a way to provide this important information in a curated way. By pulling together all of the key updates into an easy to use dashboard, we give travel bookers and travellers access to up-to-date information on Flight and Hotel Suppliers, as and when they need it.
The page is dynamic, updating as new information is provided to us by our suppliers. When changes are made by any supplier, an alert will appear on the Customer Portal dashboard notifying users that an update has been made, linking them to the dashboard to review. We’re looking forward to your feedback once we launch this new product.
