Business Travel by STA appointed a dedicated project team with academic expertise in large-scale implementation projects to manage the complete end-to-end transition process. This project was managed by the dedicated Account Manager and our Solutions Centre.
Business Travel by STA and the University set up a dedicated on-campus service centre to exclusively manage the academic account. This was in addition to our on-campus retail presence through the STA Travel store managing the student and leisure market.
The diversity and size of the University posed several logistical and operational challenges, needing to be overcome in order to achieve a smooth and effective transition to Business Travel by STA.
Business Travel by STA implemented a unique service delivery model, reducing the total travel spend by educating over 350 travellers and travel arrangers with better behaviour practices. In addition, providing a convenient face-to-face environment to discuss complex bookings and allow our consultants to provide additional services such as visa/passport assistance.
