Virgin Australia frequent flyer members can now benefit from free credit card and identity theft protection under the Velocity Rewards program.

Gold and Platinum tier members can now receive free membership to Secure Sentinel, a bank service providing cancellation and replacement of all credit and EFTPOS cards in the case of a lost wallet.

Velocity Gold members have access to the SecurePlus service. This service will help protect your wallet, keys, phone and passport and is normally offered for $59 per year.

Velocity Platinum members have the upgrade to the SecureIdentity service. This service also protects against identity theft, and is normally offered for $89 per year.
