Virgin Australia’s new Velocity Rewards program has extended benefits for top-tier members to include hotels and car hire.

Gold and Platinum Frequent Flyers now have access to the equivalent status with Hilton Hotels HHonors scheme, and the Intercontinental Priority Club.

Benefits for members include free broadband, room upgrades and point-earning bonuses and discounts on reward stays with these hotels.

All Velocity members are also now eligible for ‘elite’ memberships with either Europcar or Hertz, to receive car type upgrades, discounts on rental rates and more.

Europcar’s upper level members can also receive status-matching with Accor Hotels reward scheme.
