Rotorua for your next MICE Destination

Rotorua is located in the central North Island of New Zealand, approximately three hours drive from Auckland. The city is well connected to the rest of New Zealand and the world and even more accessible from Sydney with the recent addition of the Sydney/Rotorua service in operation twice weekly, reducing the transit time by three hours without an Auckland stopover.

Renowned for its thermal village and rich traditional Maori culture, the city offers a range of activities which rival any larger city, making the location one that should not be overlooked for future events and conferences.
Cultural experiences
Tamaki Heritage Experiences allow guests to be transported back to a pre European Maori Village and learn about Maori traditions and past times and enjoy cultural performances as well as a traditional Hangi dinner.
At Te Puia, guests can enjoy traditional Maori Cuisine and cooking techniques and enjoy dinner overlooking the world famous Pohutu geyser, surrounded by 500 pools and 65 geyser vents.
Natural wonders
Visit one of the many geothermal parks in the city and see the geysers erupt. The Lady Knox geyser at Wai-O-Tapu erupts daily at 10.15 am.
Visit the Polynesian Spa, New Zealand’s leading international hot mineral spring spa. Relax in one of the spa’s 26 thermal pools, bathe in mud or enjoy the many traditional spa therapies on offer.
Enjoy a relaxing cruise on New Zealand’s only paddle stern driven vessel the Lakeland Queen. The Queen can cater for up to 300 guests with full catering, two bars and two decks.
Visit Rainbow Springs Nature Park and discover New Zealand’s native animals and plant life. You can even experience the conservation of the kiwi in action at the kiwi house where kiwi from the wild are incubated, hatched and raised before being released back into the wild.
