A message from our CEO

One of Steve Jobs’ mantras was “Focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex. You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.” That perfectly sums up the first part of the year here at TravelEdge Group, reviewing, assessing, thinking clean and then simplifying. Out with the old and in with the new.

A great example of this earlier in the year was opening our offices to several of our clients to listen to what they had to say about the future opportunities in reporting technology. We took this opportunity to collaborate, share ideas, best practices and, above all, provide underlying benefits to our clients because our clients input helps shape our future direction and decisions. As a result, we’ve been working with a company that combines Travel Management and Big Data expertise to deliver actionable insights through a Virtual Travel Manager solution. We understand the importance of data security, this is also very high in importance to TravelEdge. Our aim is for quick implementation once a decision has been made with what is best for you, our valued client.

On a personal note, I will be giving up the warmth of my home and comfort of my bed to spend the night of the 21st June night outside in the cold sleeping ‘rough’. Why am I doing this? Because there are over 105,000 Aussies experiencing homelessness and this is how they spend night after night… outside in the cold. Whilst I cannot compare my one-night sleeping ‘rough’, I can certainly do everything in my power to raise awareness and raise funds for this worthy cause.
