Last month Corinne (Product Manager), Frances (Marketing Coordinator), Christabelle (Solution Centre Consultant) and Rebekah and Ashleigh (Corporate Consultants) spent an afternoon with Jum Mu (Regional Sales & Industry affairs – Air China) learning all about the airline! Not only were the group lucky enough to attend an aircraft inspection but they were also treated to lunch at the Rydges Sydney Airport and a tour of the newly renovated Air New Zealand Lounge.
Lunch at the Rydges was lovely! With a diverse menu matched with a great atmosphere and accessible location right near the International Terminal it proved to be a nice alternative for the corporate traveller wanting a different vibe prior to heading through customs.
The Air New Zealand Lounge was top notch and is a handy service for both Air China Business and First Class passengers as well as other select travellers to unwind! New renovations have allowed travellers to enjoy ample room to work within private pods as well as newly renovated services. Whether you want to take a nap, use their shower facilities, enjoy a delicious meal or experience great bar service with a barista, it’s definitely got it all covered!
Air China’s A330 aircraft was brilliant! Their Business Class proved to be especially impressive with 30 flatbed seats featuring adjustable footrests, headrests and extensive in-flight entertainment updated monthly. There is also ample room for travellers to move around with two seat style configuration rows.
The routes are especially convenient for those Sydneysiders and Melbourne-based clients frequenting China often with daily direct services being offered from both cities! Sydneysiders can head on over to Shanghai, Beijing and Chengdu directly whilst Melbourne passengers can also fly direct daily to Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen! Alternatively, if you are looking to head over to Europe, the airline provides routes over to London, Paris and Frankfurt.
Some other great benefits of flying with the airline are the limousine service (when flying Business or First Class) and the complimentary transit lounge passes offered to transfer passengers with onward International flights and transfer times of more than four hours.
A big thank you to Jum Mu from Air China for a fantastic and informative afternoon!
